Thank you for your contact, and the information you provided. I'll be recruiting officers to the Force to the best of my abilities, but it will be good to know that your team is available.
Rogers did offer his assistance. And I've... had conversations with Mr. Stark as well as some experience with Dr. Banner and his Anger Management Issues.
We should have a conversation some time, about you and your team. Considering what knowledge I have on your team, I think there are some things it would be in everyone's best interest if your group is aware of. As well as a reason why it may not be wise for Mr. Stark and I to work in close proximity.
I would rather not discuss it via mobile, if possible.
If you would rather not meet at the Station, I can meet you anywhere. I have a vehicle. I have a feeling I may be a bit in demand today, after that announcement. Tonight or tomorrow?
[True to her word, Natasha headed down to Southtown the next day. It gives her reason to be out of her house and observe more people, since more arrived during the storm. She left early in the morning, just a bit after sunrise, and she took her time heading south. Since she didn't have a vehicle, she'd have to walk. Not that she minded that.
Several hours later, she's walking into the Southtown Police Station, eyes darting to find him.]
[Andrew gets up out of his chair the moment she enters the station. It's empty other than the pair of them, and he gives a nod of acknowledgement. His shotgun stays on the desk, and he keeps his hands away from the magnum at his side when he offers the one that would have easier access to the gun to her, for a handshake. It's a gesture of faith he doesn't generally make, and it's clearly intentional.
He wants her to know he is intentionally keeping from threatening or aggressive reactions.
He shouldn't assume it is her, really. But he does. No one ever comes by the station unless they tell him they plan to.]
[She keeps her gun at her side too, but there's no threatening movements towards it as well. They're all here for one thing, to survive, and there's no reason they should shoot at each other. It would be counterproductive.
She extends her hand to his, taking it firmly. She's got a good grip.]
I said I would. I assume you're Sheriff Wallace? I'm Natasha Romanoff.
[That's good, because a handshake tells him a lot about the person behind it. And when he withdraws it he rests his hand on the desk to keep from putting it anywhere near his gun. It's a hard habit to break.]
That's me, yes.
There's no one else here for the day, or shouldn't be.
Can I get you some brown water masquerading as coffee?
[She's not a big coffee drinker as it is, and with limited supplies around here, she's completely sure that it's no better than the sludge on the Helicarrier.]

Name a time and location, and I'll meet you there. If it's in our best interest, perhaps the sooner, the better.

Then we should be free to talk.
